Scrapbooking question..help? please!?soap opera

When I started scrapping I would have tended to do all the London Pics together, but now I would do, say, one page of madame tussards, one of London bridge, one of Buckingham palace etc. I find it is easier and more fun to focus on, and journal about, one specific place/activity/feature per page. Also this way I can put the tickets or the brochure or other mementos on the page with the appropriate photos. After that you can also have another page - or two - for the other random London photos that there weren't enough of to have their own whole one page. As to how many photos to use on a page these days many people only put one, but I find that does not really work for travel pages because often there is not one photo that will show or tell all that you want to about a place or event. Hope this helps!

This is my album at twopeas.com which might give you some ideas.

There's no right or wrong answer. I tend to group my pages...London together, Paris together, Rome together, etc. and then sub-divide within those groups. You can even group by color, or actually make divider pages for each section. If you have 6 pictures of London, that sounds like a 2-page spread. If you have 75 pictures of London, then you might want to consider each location separately. I usually do trips chronologically and journal where we were each day, what we did, etc. You can divide in other ways too, all the water, river, fountain pictures; all the tours; all the churches (tons of those in Europe!); all the people pictures, etc. Everyone has their own style; it sounds like since this is your first book you just haven't found it yet. ;-) Remember, you don't have to scrap EVERY picture. If you have a lot of photos, pick your favorites, the best ones or the most unique. Which ones do you need to tell the story?
Do what you want. Keep only your best photos and then see how many pages you have. Also any scrapbookable reminders of your trip like tickets, postcards, etc. Usually I'd do a page or a 2 page spread of ech area or thing. But if its smaller combine 2 from the same area. Say multiple things you did in one day. I also go by a timeline of the days to do the basic set-up. Your telling a story...think about it that way. Don't get hung up on photos if they are blurred or such, even if thats your only one. You'd be surprized what you can find on an image search too if you really what an image to add in.
It's kind of tricky to really tell someone how to do their layout. Me myself I really don't like alot of pics on one page. if it is just you do a single photo with some journaling 2 pics the most how big is your album? That matters too. They have great magazines at the library for layout help especially with traveling.
Do an entire album dedicated to your trip. On your pages add flip up albums these can hold up to an additional 8 to 10 pictures on a page and they are a fun design element. If your super new to this as we all once were, and I am no pro. Go to different sites like two peas in a bucket and look at some layout for insperation, everyone gets creative block once in a while, when it happens to me with a specific page or topic I go to something else first and then come back to it and wala the ideas just flow. Just relax and have fun! As I was told when I started there are no mistakes in Scrapbooking.

Good Luck

hohoho..

now the point is do whatever you want to do!

its not hard but ithink make it balance like 3 pages of london,3 pages of maddame tussades or whatever.

okay..

mmm.. if i could be there of course ive helped you! now the first thing eva you should do is the place you mostly go when you are in england!

tell the world what is the most best thing there... its kinda easy right?
If you have something specific, like Madame Tussades' place, do a special page on it. Add emblishments and hand-written details. How many pictures do you have? Especially any good pictures of different places? That could tell you how many to put on a page. Take them out, arrange and rearrange them on a page.

Did you really enjoy one site more than the other? Add a special page, too. Postcards? Stamps? Coins? They all can go on a page. Put the coins in a keepsake keeper. It will stick with the page.

Is this your first time overseas? Write about that. Flying problems? Add that in. Add in any memories you can remember. That way, when you go back to see the book later on, you'll have lots of memories pop up.
Hi I'm generally alot less organized but perhaps a heading page for each city with many photos of all the places you visited and follow that with the individual places from that city. Single page for each place. Don't forget to journal on each place. Special things like the history or what you felt or special memories. Something that was funny etc etc.

It's really nice to look back on and jogs the memories again.

Ultimately it depends on how much time you have and how many photos. Your one lucky girl going to all these places. Awesome. If your looking for a notepad and papers to use, check the site listed below.

Lastly - good luck with your pages, whatever your choice.
If you have enough to do 4 pages go for it.

If you have enough to do 4 themes in one scrapbook of London, then do 4 uniquely different themes that makes your trip to London Special.

Keep it simple, but be sure to catch the eye's of those people who are looking. Of course these are just idea's of which you can take %26amp; apply to UR scrapbook, or not: It's UR choice.
