Hi im 13 and recently been on a cruise where there has been a Stadium Theatre Company and they have opened my eyes to wanting to be a musicals performer. But I have a small problem, I'm from West Yorkshire and that sort of thing aint that big. The people that make it big in West End live in London all their lives an go to these big performing arts schools but i cant do that. Please help me on what i should do.....

Please don't think that you have to have lived in London all of your life to work in the West End. I have worked on a number of shows and the actors come from all over the country. Yes some do live in London, but not everyone lives there. I have worked with actors from Yorkshire, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Birmingham, Leeds, Wakefield, in fact from all over the country.

Is there a local amateur theatre you could join, or check out the link below. It has some of the drama schools in West Yorkshire. Some may be geared to people older than you, but others, such as Stagecoach usually cater for your age.

Don't give up on your dream, you will get there eventually if it is what you really want.
Remember that every one wants to be a star but only those who are 110% will even get near ,do not think that you will be discovered you will need to devote your whole life to this.
get some life exsperience and trainnig first. dont mean to dishearten you, not unless you want to learn your lines and avoid the furniture which is not a very good thing to do. you do need to know how to act, as it is theatre.
Learn your craft now so that when you are able to make a move, you'll be ready. Surely there are voice teachers, dance classes, and acting coaches, even in West Yorkshire. Also, summer arts camps can help prepare you for when you make a big "jump," say like to college. At 17 as a freshman in college, it's not too late to get your feet wet in productions. And who knows? If you look hard enough, you may find a few performance opportunities where you are -- church soloist, chorus member, workshops, community theatre shows.
You could always put a posting on one of the social networking sites and see if you get spotted.....good luck
Good luck!I hope your dream comes true! From time to time you see adverts in the paper for auditions for local theatre company's?
have a look in your area to see if there is a musical society if there is join them this will give you a good start and give you the chance to improve your singing, dancing and acting skills then if you like what your doing you can go for open auditions in london, liverpool places like that anyway good luck and as we say on stage break a leg
